The San Diego Law Library is participating in the Westlaw Patron Access Remote Pilot program with Thomson Reuters to allow library pro se patrons (non-attorneys) remote access to Westlaw, a premier legal research database.

This database includes primary state and federal law, and numerous secondary sources for State and Federal topics. In addition to primary law, California resources include: all Witkin treatises, Cal Jur legal encyclopedia, California Civil Practice set, California Transaction Forms set, and Miller & Starr Real Property. Please note that access is limited to two seats at a time and there are limitations on downloading content. Also, the content differs from our on-site Westlaw subscription.

For more information on signing up and accessing the database, see our Westlaw Remote for Pro Se webpage.
