Does the new COVID-19 normal leave you feeling overwhelmed? Do you feel inundated with emails, text messages, and telephone calls, and find yourself missing the simplicity of face-to-face interactions? We sure do! So, we have decided to try something new to reach out to our patrons!
This week, our fantastic reference librarians are introducing “What’s Happening Now,” a weekly Facebook Live event where we discuss everything we are doing while our in-person services are suspended. You can message us your questions during the Facebook Live event, and we can answer your question in real-time.
Our inaugural broadcast will be Thursday, December 3rd at 2 pm, and will be hosted by Reference Librarian Havilah Steinman Bakken. Havilah will share information about our upcoming MCLE Crunch Time classes, our webinar on how to access our Lexis e-books through the San Diego Digital Law Library, and. most importantly, allows YOU to ask questions on how to access our resources from the comfort of your home!
To access What’s Happening NOW, use this link to navigate to our Facebook page on Thursday, Dec. 3rd, at 2 pm and you can see our smiling faces!
What’s Happing NOW is just one of the many resources that we have made available to help you with your legal issues during the COVID-19 crisis. Check out our Classes, Legal Databases, and COVID-19 Legal Issues pages for more information! If you have any questions about our webinars or accessing our legal databases, please contact us by email, telephone, or Virtual Front Desk (weekdays between 2 pm and 4 pm). Or, you can sign up for a telephone appointment with a reference librarian.
