Vote for Book of the Year

We need you to cast your vote to help us select the 2020 Book of the Year. YOU get to choose which book we add to the collection. Cast your vote online or at the Open House.The winner will be announced as part of the festivities at our 8th Annual Open House: Peace, Love, & Law Libraries, which will take place on February 6th, from 5:00 pm t0 7:00 pm at the Downtown Location. And, if you cast your vote at the Open House, you may win a Law Library Bag o’ Swag!


This year’s candidates are:

Fiction: The Substitution Order by Martin Clark
Non-Fiction: The Nonsense Factory by Bruce Cannon Gibney
Biography: She Said by Jodi Kantor & Megan Twohey


The Book of the Year announcement is just a small part of the Open House activities. Wear your grooviest threads and take a picture at our psychedelic selfie station, jam to our live band, participate in games to win far-out prizes, and hear from our favorite community supporters. As the heart of the legal community, the Law Library opens its doors to friends and supporters each year to show our appreciation.It’s going to be a real love fest, so please join us!
