The COVID-19 pandemic has affected much of society in the past month. Our Superior Court has been impacted severely, closed except for emergencies for over six weeks. And, much like you, we have been waiting on the edge of our seats to find out when and how the court is going to reopen. Tomorrow there is an event that will hopefully answer some of the questions about the near future of the San Diego Superior Court!

We are happy to be a part of the State of the San Diego Superior Court address hosted by the San Diego County Bar Association on Wednesday, April 29th, at 12:00 PM. This free webinar will discuss the recent changes in court operations made in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and provide a Question & Answer session.

San Diego County Bar Association President Johanna Schiavoni will provide the introduction. The State of the Court address will be given by San Diego Superior Court Central Courthouse Presiding Judge Lorna A. Alksne, Assistant Presiding Judge Michael T. Smyth, and Court Executive Officer Michael Roddy.

This is a FREE, online event, and all attendees must register through the San Diego County Bar Association’s registration page. If you are not a San Diego County Bar Association member, then you will need to create a free profile first.
