By Kelly on September 29, 2017//Leave a comment

The Law Library is proud to partner with the Legal Aid Society of San Diego to provide a new clinic to help those in need. The SSI (Supplemental Security Income) Advocacy Program for Children is a free clinic that offers services for children who have a qualifying disability and who meet financial eligibility. They will provide assistance with completing and filing SSI applications and appeals. Additionally, Legal Aid will provide representation with SSI appeals and hearings. Appointments are available, but walk-ins are welcome.

Currently, there are two locations for the clinics, the South Bay Courthouse and the Vista branch of the Law Library. The clinics are every other week in each location. In South Bay, they are 9 am to noon every other Wednesday. The next dates are October 4 and 18. In Vista, they are 9 am to noon every other Thursday. The next dates are October 12 and 26. You can call Legal Aid for more information: 1-844-774-5463.
