Hi, I am tentatively interested in attending this upcomming workshop. I do want to note that I have not attended law school and do not have intent on becomming a lawyer, but am looking for “lower-level(?)” assistant or research positions. I have experience and knowledge in art and intellectual property, automotive technology, printing and graphics, history, ecology, and other such technical backgrounds. After job or career searches for nearly 10 years, I seem to think that, for some reason, the legal field may be one in which I could employ all of my background knowledge. I hope that, if it is, the presenter could identify that kind of work, whether it be maintaining my business license as a consultant, working under a lawyer as a part-time secretary or admin-assistant, or in a judicial department, or anything else. Thank you for your consideration. Regardless, I look forward to (hopefully) attending this workshop and learning more about employment in the legal field. If, for unforseeable reasons, I cannot attend in person, I would greatly appreciate a copy of any lecture notes presented after the presentation. Thank you!
