Account Closures

To start the account closure process you may download an Account Closure Form and return it by e-mail, fax to (619) 238-7716, or deliver it to one of our locations.


For members who have a security deposit on file:


Once opened, your account must remain open for a minimum of three months before a request to refund the balance will be honored.


Your deposit may be donated to the library, or you may request a check.  Your security deposit, less any unpaid fines or other charges, will be refunded approximately six weeks after the Library receives your written request to close the account.
