Practical Legal Research – SOLD OUT

About the Program:
Practical Legal Research is a two-part class designed to serve as a bridge between law school legal research and researching an “everyday” legal question. Part 1 will cover research strategies and how to find legal information in the some of the more important California resources such as Witkin’s Summary of California Law, California Forms of Pleading and Practice, West’s California Digest and others.
Part 1 will be covered in this class. Part 2 will be covered at a later date TBA. Please check our calendar for future events.
Part 2 will provide basic instruction on legal databases such as CEB OnLaw and HeinOnline and also refresher training on Lexis and Westlaw Next.
Each class will include hands on exercises.
