Join us for a FREE one-hour MCLE that explores the difference between law and justice. Can art help make us better practitioners of the law? Our speaker, Ona Russell, uses literature to provide perspective on those who are involved in the judicial system. Her key texts include Albert Camus’ The Fall, William Faulkner’s The Unvanquished, and Kafka’s The Trial.

Russell is a credentialed mediator with an M.A. in English from Clark University and a Ph.D. in literature from the University of California, San Diego. She is a regular contributor to Orange County Lawyer Magazine. Russell is the author of an award-winning series of historical mysteries featuring Ohio court officer and civic trailblazer, Sarah Kaufman.
