Did you miss out on renewing your Law Library Borrowing Program earlier this year? Are you hesitant to renew because it only lasts until the end of the year? Not anymore because your borrowing privileges will now extend for a full year after you pay. That’s right! No longer do borrowing or benefits terms end on December 31. Instead, they go for a full year. For example, if you renew or create a borrowing account on July 21, 2022, it will continue through July 21, 2023.

Our patrons with a valid Borrowing Package can choose from 1000s of items to check out from our Downtown location. Plus, you can access multiple online databases from home. Databases include Gale California Legal Forms, HeinOnline, the National Consumer Law Center, and Trellis Legal Analytics. Not only that, but you can access over 60 practice guides from Lexis as eBooks through the San Diego Digital Law Library. Electronic titles includes California Forms of Pleading and Practice and California Legal Forms. If you are a little mystified by eBooks, that’s okay as we just added a how-to class to our YouTube channel all about using Lexis eBooks. All of these databases can be accessed from the Legal Databases webpage. When you’re there, look in the right hand column for the ones you can access remotely.

If you are a former Borrower or if you are interested in becoming one, please contact us by telephone or email and we can help you get set up with your 2022 package!
