Open by Appointment Only

Our Downtown Location of the law library is now open to the public by appointment only. You can make an appointment to use either a computer station or the resources in the Reading Room by signing up online.

But, be prepared, going to the library is going to be quite a different experience from pre-COVID times! You MUST have an appointment to enter the library. A limited number of appointments will be available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and there will be two appointment options, either 9-11:30 AM or 12:30-3 PM.  The law library will be closed 11:30 AM-12:30 PM to allow for the cleaning of workstations between appointments. The librarians will provide socially-distanced assistance and retrieve material from the stacks, which are closed to the public. Copying and printing will be limited.

We have a law library to donate which includes over 200 hard cover volumes of West’s California Reporter and West’s California Annotated Codes. Would you accept them as a donation?

Thank you for your kind offer. We already have sets of the Reporter and Codes and do not need another copy since we have database access. Thank you for thinking of us! Perhaps one of the local prisons would accept the donation for their library, I’m sorry I do not have a contact to refer you to.
