Solo practitioner? Big firm attorney? Recent Bar passer? Representing yourself in a court? Never heard of the Law Library?

No matter who you are, you’re a star to the Law Library! Come and be treated like one at the San Diego Law Library’s annual Open House on Thursday, June 23, from 5 PM to 7 PM. It is free to all San Diego residents.

The Law Library is a free public resource for San Diego County residents. Funded by court filing fees, we are a public library providing legal information virtually and in person across the county. Our Open House is your chance to come in and check us out. You don’t need a law degree, litigation, or a legal issue to come on by and see what’s available. Take a look at our collection, meet our professional librarians, and picture how we can be a resource for you.

We have legal information resources for everyone including small businesses, freelancers, entrepreneurs, and professionals. Our online education covers landlord and tenant, family law, and other common legal issues.  We can help you get started, keep you going, or prepare to wind down.

Please join us at the San Diego Law Library, located at the corner of Front and C Streets in Downtown San Diego (near the Courthouse MTS stop). Questions? Email

We hope you’ll come to meet us and treat you like a star!
