We all know that we should have an end of life plan, but statistics show that only 40% of Americans have actually created an estate plan. If you need information to get started on your plan, our Know the Law Series is here for you. This informational class on Trusts and Estates is part of our fall Know the Law! series and will take place on Tuesday, October 15th, at the Vista Branch of the San Diego County Library, starting at 10:30 am.
Each Know the Law! lecture provides a basic level of knowledge on a legal topic. The sessions are 60-90 minutes long and includes a short Q & A session. The classes are designed to cover legal topics that you are likely to encounter in your daily life. Volunteer attorneys lead this multiple part series in their area of practice. These attorneys should NOT be considered as personal lawyers. You may be required to sign a waiver before speaking to an attorney that states that no attorney client relationship is being created with this free service. The lawyers are there to provide general guidance.
We are proud to be partnering with the San Diego County Library’s Vista branch and the North County Bar Association to provide the Know the Law series of public lectures this fall. The last session in the fall series take place on Tuesday, November 15th, and will discuss Small Claims Law.
