California businesses will soon be able to use DOCQNET (Document Quality Network), a new online filing system from the California Department of Business Oversight to file:

  • Securities permit applications and exemption notices;
  • Franchise applications and exemption notices;
  • License applications to obtain a license to conduct business in California; and
  • Licensed individuals and companies may also use DOCQNET to update their contact information, submit Annual Report information, and eventually pay application, renewal and qualification fees.

Businesses will be able to file via DOCQNET starting June 18, 2014 at noon. For more information about the DOCQNET self-service portal, click here.
