Wed., Dec. 1: Legal Ethics Off the Clock: Professional Ethics on Personal Time (1 Hour Ethics MCLE)– We are starting off with a bang on December 1st with a Specialty Ethics credit! This presentation talks about ethical rules and guidelines that govern lawyers’ actions, conduct, and speech on personal time.
Thurs., Dec. 2: Trellis 101: California State Court Research & Judge Analytics (1 Hour General MCLE)– This MCLE is promoting our new legal database, Trellis. Trellis provides California state trial court information, judge analytics, and more!
Fri., Dec. 3: Hidden Gems of the San Diego Law Library II (FREE Hour General MCLE)– To celebrate our 100th webinar we brought back a fan favorite topic. Namely, the best legal resources at the law library that you may not know about. Our very own law-brarians will discuss the resources they find most helpful!
Mon., Dec. 6: Avoiding Burnout (1 Hour Competence MCLE)– Let’s collectively admit that it has been a rough year. We are all a little more exhausted than we were in 2019. And, in this webinar you will not only get a coveted hour of Competence credit, but also learn important skills like stress management and how to handle burnout in yourself and others.
Tues., Dec. 7: Speedwriting: From Brain to Brief in Hurry (1.5 Hour General MCLE)– This class uses techniques developed by professional writers to enable lawyers to take complex, multi-issue matters and organize them quickly, logically, and systematically. What more could a busy attorney ask for?
Mon., Dec. 13: Disability Law Update (1 Hour General MCLE)– The Pacific ADA Center is back again for another informative webinar on recent updates in the law surrounding the Americans with Disabilities Act. This wonderful organization’s mission is to make connections between the disability community and the general public. Pacific ADA Center provides information, training, consultations, and technical assistance to businesses and state and local governments.
Tues., Dec. 14: Writing for Trial Court Judges (1.5 Hour General MCLE)– In this 90-minute webinar, attendees will learn to write a succinct and persuasive argument that meets trial judge expectations from a AV-rated attorney and author with over 35 years of experience.

California attorneys who wish to maintain their eligibility to practice law have to complete 25 hours of approved MCLE credits every three years. The deadline for attorneys whose last names start with a letter from A through G to complete those 25 hours is February 1, 2022. At least 12.5 hours have to be participatory and the remaining half can be self-study.
