Michael Washington has been a public defender since 1994, and has been an adjunct professor at the University of San Diego School of Law since 2003. He earned a Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law. Washington fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge George W. Clarke.
Pamela Parker has served as a senior appellate attorney at the Fourth District Court of Appeal of San Diego, Division One since 2012. She was an adjunct professor at the University of San Diego Law School from 2010 to 2012 and at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2011. Parker held multiple positions at Robbins Geller Rudman and Dowd LLP from 1991 to 2011. She earned a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School. Parker fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Luis R. Vargas.
