This one hour presentation discusses the highlights of significant events and cases in Indian Law in 2013.
About the Speaker:
Mark Vezzola is the Directing Attorney at California Indian Legal Services, a law firm that specializes in representing Native Americans and Native American tribal organizations. Mr. Vezzola is the author of several articles and book chapters on the constitutional rights of incarcerated Native Americans and on same sex marriages in Native American communities. In addition, Mr. Vezzola teaches history at San Diego Mesa College and American Indian studies at Palomar College.
