The new year is just around the corner! This means the second half of MCLE Crunch Time is about to begin! We have a great line-up next week, including a specialty elimination of bias class, a fan-favorite speaker discussing animal law, and a class on free tech tools!

  • Tuesday, January 4th: Managing Implicit Bias in the Legal Profession (1 Hour Elimination of Bias Participatory Credit): Speaker and Assistant Dean and Professor at ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law Ray English will discuss the persistence of implicit bias in our legal system and workplaces. Participants will learn to provide clients with the best solutions and create inclusive environments and effective teams. That effort must start with managing implicit biases in their workplaces. This program will explore implicit bias and its impact on the legal system and practice of law. The presentation will also provide insight and specific guidance on how to turn the table on difficult conversations, resulting in a better understanding of how to manage implicit bias in the practice of law and the workplace.
