In this presentation, San Diego Superior Court Judge Matthew Braner will talk about some famously bad judges and look at not only the effects they produced on their society, but also in some cases how they were products of that society.
About the Speaker
Hon. Judge Matthew Braner received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley, and his JD from the University of California, Hastings College of Law. He was appointed to the San Diego Superior Court bench in 2014. For most of his legal career he worked in the San Diego Public Defenders Office as a trial deputy, appellate lawyer, and then as supervisor of the Writs and Appeals Unit.
