MCLE: One Hour of General Participatory CLE Credit
Creating an estate plan can be very complicated. And, if you or your attorney make the wrong choices when creating your estate plan, it can create problems for your family and the courts when settling your estate. We have enlisted San Diego County Probate Court Judge Julia Kelety to educate you on the most common mistakes that people make when creating an estate plan.
About the Program:
This class will provide an overview of some common mistakes in estate planning that can lead to problems and disputes when the estate is administered. Judge Julia Kelety will share her insight on this subject based on her experience as a Probate Court judge.
About the Speaker:
The Honorable Judge Julia Kelety graduated from the University of Arizona and Cornell Law School. Judge Kelety was appointed to the San Diego Superior Court bench in 2003, where she has served in the Juvenile Dependency and Probate Divisions. Judge Kelety is a member of the San Diego Law Library Board of Trustees, and prior to her appointment as a judge, she worked as a litigator in private practice and a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California.
