MCLE – Speedwriting from Brain to Brief – Wednesday Jan 13
Date: Wednesday, January 13, 2016
Time: 12-1 p.m.
Location: Downtown San Diego
MCLE: 1 hour General Participatory credit.
About the class:
Speedwriting: From Brain to Brief in a Hurry, uses techniques developed by nonlawyer professional writers that will help lawyers to take complex, multi-issue matters and organize them quickly, logically, and systematically. The course speeds the writing process and helps lawyers make complex matters clear and easily comprehensible.
Participants report that the course has changed the way they write. They no longer fear complicated and labyrinthine matters but find instead they can “get a handle” on the writing process, sometimes in only 15 to 30 minutes.
About the speaker:
Randall Christison has practiced law for over 35 years, focusing on civil litigation and on training lawyers. He has handled scores of trials, around 200 appeals, and has been AV-rated for 25 years. He has authored books on law practice for CEB, as well as a number of articles on professional training and lawyers’ writing skills.
