MCLE Classes on Burnout and Enforcing Judgments

By Kelly on November 30, 2017//Leave a comment

We are excited about the final two MCLE classes we’re offering this year. We have a competence-qualifying MCLE class this week, as well as a class on enforcing judgments! Each 1 hour class is $25, but library members can save $5 per class. Check out our calendar often because we are adding new classes. Sign up today!

  • Dec 19 – Running on Empty: The Epidemic of Professional Burnout (COMPETENCE) – Join us for an honest discussion on burnout and the pressures that impact legal professionals. The session includes resources for assistance and recommendations on how to address the mental stress of the profession.
  • Dec 21 – Enforcing Judgments – Learn some of the methods available to maximize your recovery on a judgment. This includes when to renew a judgment to get the maximum amount under the statutory 10% annual interest.

California attorneys who wish to maintain their eligibility to practice law have to complete 25 hours of approved MCLE credits every three years.  The deadline for attorneys whose last names start with a letter from H through M to complete those 25 hours is February 1, 2018. At least 12.5 hours have to be participatory and the remaining half can be self-study.
