Mabel VandenBrink

Mabel VandenBrink graduated from the University of California, Irvine with degrees in Sociology and Criminology, Law & Society. After graduation, she worked full time as a paralegal assistant for Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP while also pursuing her paralegal certificate from UC Irvine. She worked as a paralegal in the area of civil litigation before relocating with her husband to San Diego, CA. During her years serving in an estate planning paralegal capacity, she drafted a variety of trusts, ancillary estate planning documents, helped advise, and on occasion accompanied, both non-professional and professional fiduciaries in carrying out their duties as trustee, estate administrator, conservator, and/or agent for power of attorney. Ms. VandenBrink received her fiduciary license from the State of California in 2010 and has worked full time as a fiduciary since then. She received a certificate in Fiduciary Management for Trustee and Conservators from California State University, Fullerton, is a National Certified Guardian (NCG), a member of the San Diego County Bar Association Estate Planning and Elder Law sections, and an active member of the Professional Fiduciary Association of California.


Ms. VandenBrink will be a panelist at A Special Night for Special Needs,  an MCLE event sponsored by the Hartford Group of Merrill Lynch.
