Library Closed on Monday for Columbus/ Indigenous Peoples’ Day Holiday

By Valerie on October 07, 2019//Leave a comment

The law library locations in North County and Downtown San Diego will be closed on Monday, October 14th, in observance of Columbus Day/ Indigenous Peoples’ Day.* The public libraries in El Cajon and Chula Vista remain open, and while our librarians will not be available on Monday, several of our popular legal research databases are available at two terminals in each location. We will be open regular business hours on Tuesday, October 15th.

You can access many online resources while the Library is closed. Start with our Self-Help Center or the research and motion guides on our website. They cover dozens of legal topics. Also, you can read self-help legal books any time by clicking on the Nolo Books-Legal Information Reference Center link from the legal databases page.

* The following cities and counties in California celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day in lieu of, or in addition to Colombus Day: Berkeley, Burbank, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, San Fernando, San Francisco, San Luis Obispo, Santa Cruz, South Lake Tahoe, Santa Cruz, & Watsonville
