About the speaker:
David Carr, an attorney in private practice in San Diego, California, specializes in discipline defense, bar admissions, legal malpractice, attorney professional responsibility, and ethics advice.
Following several years of practice in business litigation, Mr. Carr joined the State Bar as a staff attorney in 1989. He has since served many roles in the discipline system, including counsel to the State Bar’s investigative oversight panel, Deputy Trial Counsel in the discipline prosecutor’s office of the State Bar, appellate advocate before the State Bar Court’s Review Department, and more. He has been in private practice since 2001.
