The Law Library is excited to welcome two new members to the San Diego Law Library Foundation!  We are continuously grateful for the support of the San Diego Law Library Foundation, which is organized as a charitable trust affiliated with the San Diego Law Library. The sole mission of the Foundation is to aid us in our efforts to provide access to justice through our many resources and programs. The Foundation is recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization established for scientific and educational purposes by the IRS.

Many of you may recognize new Foundation member Eric Ganci from his MCLE classes on the law and science of DUI cases. Ganci is a Staff Attorney on the Complex Litigation team at Casey Gerry. Prior to working at Casey Gerry, Ganci ran his own boutique firm specializing in DUI defense. He received his JD from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, his BA in Music Education from Northern Illinois University, and graduated from the Trial Lawyers College in 2013, where he is now an instructor.

Our second new member, Natalie Ganz, is the Chief Strategy and Engagement Officer for the San Diego Public Library Foundation. Gantz has an extensive professional background in philanthropy, including most recently as the Director of Gift Planning for Scripps Health. Prior to that, she served as the Director of Philanthropy/ Planned Giving at San Diego Hospice. Ganz received her JD from the University of Southern California School of Law and her BA from the University of California, Irvine.

We are elated to have such accomplished individuals supporting our mission. If you are curious about how the San Diego Law Library Foundation Board works with the Law Library’s Board of Trustees, the two organizations recently signed a Joint Statement explaining their roles.

The Foundation is still in search of two more dynamic members who are passionate about our county’s public law library, have a desire to increase the local community’s access to justice, and are enthusiastic about fundraising. This is a great opportunity to work with other outstanding members of the legal community and to help the Law Library continue to serve the public.
