The San Diego Law Library will be closed Wednesday, March 31st, for César Chávez Day. This official state holiday honors the life and work of labor leader and civil rights activist César Chávez. In addition to the physical locations being closed on this date, we will also be unavailable by telephone, email, virtual reference desk, and statewide chat.

We will reopen on Thursday, April 1st for phone and email reference, statewide chat, Virtual Reference Desk (2 pm – 4 pm), and limited appointments for telephone reference or in-person access to the Downtown location.

Patrons can access a variety of online resources while the Library is closed. You can start with our Self-Help Center or the research and motion guides on our website. They cover dozens of legal topics. Also, you can research primary law through Fastcase and read self-help legal books from Nolo any time by clicking on the links from our legal databases page.
