Law and Comics Returns for 5th Anniversary

On Tuesday, July 22, the San Diego Law Library will host Law & Comics 2014. The fifth annual Lindley Lecture on Law & Comics program, Creative Nightmare: Creator’s Rights, Licensing, and Work for Hire, will be from noon to 1. Our featured guests are comics artist Alé Garza, IDW Publishing President and COO Greg Goldstein, and entertainment lawyer and comic creator Stu Rees. George Brewster is returning as moderator.
The talk will explore the changing world of creating and publishing comics. As the ties between Hollywood and comics grow tighter, it is important for creators and publishers to understand and protect their respective rights.
Join us for a discussion of creator’s rights, intellectual property licensing, and work for hire in the world of comic books.

I would like to bring a group of visiting judges from Turkey for this event. Is there a fee, and do we need to reserve spots? thanks.
