Well, it is official, “Landlord Tenant Law Update” on Friday, July 24th, is SOLD OUT. Fortunately, the speakers, Joshua Tucker and Lila Gitesatani (of Legal Aid Society San Diego) have allowed us to post the webinar to our YouTube Channel.
Since the law library’s closure of our physical locations on to the public on March 16th, we have been hosting all of our classes online as Zoom webinars. And, fortunately for us, our generous speakers have given us permission to upload almost every one of the classes to our YouTube Channel, so that they can inform and educate on the topics that are important to the people of San Diego County during this unprecedented time.
The only limitation is that if you are a legal professional and want the one hour general participatory MCLE credit provided by the webinar, you MUST be signed up for the live version of the event on July 24th. But, if you are just interested in the changes in California’s housing law resulting from the housing crisis and COVID-19 pandemic, you will be able to access this webinar the day after the event (barring any unforeseen circumstances).
The webinar will provide an overview of the recent changes, including:
- Statewide rent caps and just cause evictions,
- Rent increase notice changes, and
- COVID-19 moratoria on evictions.
This webinar is just one of the many resources that we have made available to help you with your legal issues during the COVID-19 crisis. Check out our Classes, Legal Databases, and COVID-19 Legal Issues pages for more information! If you have any questions about our webinars or accessing our legal databases, please contact us via email or telephone for more information or assistance.
