What’s Happening In Vista
Planning is currently underway to remove the existing trailer, and level the ground. This is step one in the renovation process. Meanwhile, the County is reviewing and prioritizing all projects for the upcoming year. When we secure the required funding, the County will be able to move forward with the project.
Why Renovate the Trailer Annex
ANNEX PROBLEMS
The trailer annex to the Vista law library branch is literally falling apart. This is where we hold our classes, and where you hold your meetings and depositions and meditations. We can no longer rent the space out for meetings or depositions, host legal clinics or MCLE classes in the conference room.
REPLACEMENT PLANS
The County plans to replace our trailer annex. The architect has configured the new space to hold larger MCLE classes, clinics, & meetings. While the County will pay for a new structure, it is up to us to pay for the furniture and technology to make this a functional space. There are many ways to contribute to this project and help support the Law Library. Click here to view the County’s two proposed options for the trailer replacement. Stay tuned as we update this page with progress and design plans!
