The Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) turned 30 years old this year. How much do you know about the ADA? How can you find answers on the ADA when you need them? In this event, speaker Jan Garrett of the Pacific ADA Center, will provide an overview of the ADA, how it applies in COVID-19, and resources for answering your ADA questions.
This session will cover:
- An overview of the Americans with Disabilities Act
- How the ADA applies to COVID-19, including masks
- The abundant resources the Pacific ADA Center and the ADA National Network have to answer your ADA questions
Jan Garrett is the Program Manager of the Pacific ADA Center, which is a member of the ADA National Network. She provides training and technical guidance on the ADA and everyone’s rights and responsibilities under the law. As a person with a disability herself, Jan understands that full implementation of the ADA will be achieved only if everyone understands its requirements.
