Info About Appealing Cases in Today’s Civil Appellate Self-Help Workshop
Do you have a judgment that you would like to appeal from the San Diego Superior Court, but don’t know where to start?
Are you an attorney or legal professional and want to learn more about the process?
Are you an appellate attorney that is interested in helping appellants or appellees in their case?
This Tuesday, June 16th, the Law Library, the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, and the San Diego County Bar Association’s Appellate Practice Section are hosting our monthly Civil Appellate Self-Help Workshop online. This workshop is designed for individuals with civil cases that are being appealed to the 4th District Court of Appeal and who are not represented by an attorney. The Workshop will explain the appellate process and identify resources that can be helpful in handling your appeal.
The webinar will be held at its normally schedule time, Tuesday, June 16th, at 4:00 pm. Attendees MUST register in advance by contacting the Legal Aid Society of San Diego at (619) 471-2781. Potential registrants will then be called for screening and receive a Zoom link to the virtual workshop.
The Civil Appellate Self-Help Workshop is also an opportunity to learn more about the Access to Appellate Justice Pro Bono Program, a program what pairs self-represented appellants with pro bono attorneys.
