Well, 2020 is drawing to a close (finally)! We hope that you have a safe and joyful New Year’s Day. In order to celebrate the end of this unprecedented year, the Law Library will have special hours for the holiday:
- New Year’s Eve, Thursday, Dec. 31: 8 am to 12 pm
- New Year’s Day, Friday, Jan. 1: closed
- Saturday, Jan. 2 & Sunday, Jan. 3: closed for the weekend
We will return to our regularly scheduled hours on Monday, Jan. 4th. However, due to the current health order, the Law Library’ is closed for in-person services and is not currently circulating print materials.
The holiday hours will affect the reference services provided by telephone, email, remote assistance appointments, statewide chat, and Virtual Front Desk. While the library is closed, our online resources are still available. Start with our COVID-19 Legal Issues page, Self-Help Center, or the research and motion guides available on our website. The guides cover dozens of legal topics. Also, you can remotely access many of our legal databases, including NOLO’s self-help legal books, from the legal databases page.
Take care, stay safe, and we will see you in 2021!
