Holiday Open House

A great time was had by all at our best Open House event to date! Thank you to everyone that attended and helped us celebrate our accomplishments. There is still time to support the Law Library by making a small donation, and adding some more cheer to our festive tree – see below for more info. Don’t forget to check out the great photos from the event, too.

Thank you to all our Open House attendees and our sponsors, Robert Half Legal and CEB.  Congratulations to our contest winners!

The Law Library Foundation* invites you to celebrate the holiday season at the San Diego Law Library’s Fifth Annual Holiday Open House Party!    We are excited to welcome library supporters, patrons, board members and distinguished community leaders to our Fifth Annual Holiday Open House Party for good cheer, light appetizers sponsored by Robert Half Legal, and festive holiday music by Rick and Ria.  Come meet our special honored guest San Diego City Attorney-elect Mara Elliott.

The Open House is an opportunity for us to thank the community and highlight our biggest events and accomplishments of the year. This year, our Open House will be highlighting four major events of  2016:

The Bookmas Tree brings holiday joy and cheer and is an annual fundraising event to help us add resources to the collection.

The Bookmas Tree stands over 9 feet tall and is more than 3 feet wide at the base.  Built with books from storage, the tree is an impressive sight!  Help us decorate for the holidays and raise funds for the library.  All we need is some “jingle” on our tree.  Donate $25  to add ONE ornament or decorative present or $75 to add FOUR ornaments or decorative presents under the tree.  Donations will be used to add much needed resources to our collection.

All donors will be acknowledged with their names on an ornament or a decorative present under the tree!

The Bookmas Tree is on display from November 21 until New Years.

Take a picture of the Bookmas Tree and post with this tag:  #bookmastreeSD

Bookmas Tree is Sponsored by our friends at CEB.

Donate $25 to add one ornament or decorative present under the tree.

Donate $75 to add four ornaments or decorative presents under the tree.

Can you guess the number of books we used this year to make our Bookmas Tree? Guess the number of books used to create the Bookmas Tree – without going over, and win a Law Library bag of swag. Enter our fun Guess The Number of Books contest.    We will announce the winner at our Holiday Open House.
