The Law Library will be closed on Christmas Eve, Friday, December 24th in observance of the Christmas holiday and New Year’s Eve, Friday, December 31st, in observance of the New Year’s holiday. The San Diego Superior Court will be closed for the holidays, as well.

Regularly scheduled services will resume in-person at our Downtown location and by email, telephone, and statewide chat the Mondays following the holiday weekends.

Even though the library is closed, you can continue your legal research from home using our online resources. Use our COVID-19 Legal Issues pageSelf-Help Center, or Research and Motion guides to direct your research.  Remote access is available to free legal websites and the legal database Fastcase and NOLO’s self-help legal books from our Databases page. And, if you need some guidance during the holiday weekend, our YouTube channel has video tutorials, guides, and self-study CLE classes, including hard-to-find specialty credits, available on demand.

We hope you have a safe and happy holiday season!
