About the Speakers


Pamela J. Brown-McGill, Esq.

Pamela has 20+ years working in the public sector, over 10 years of which were spent working for the San Diego Superior Court. While continuing to invest her time helping self-represented/pro per litigants navigate the legal system, she has also added bankruptcy to her practice.


Michelle Patterson, Esq.

Michelle’s career in bankruptcy began in 2009, prior to becoming a lawyer, in a large, multi-state, bankruptcy and foreclosure law firm. Michelle earned her J.D. in 2016 and founded Michelle Patterson Law in 2017.  Today, Michelle provides personalized services to debtors, and individual creditors, in bankruptcy cases.


Daniel Wiedecker, Esq.

Daniel is a staff attorney with the Debt Relief Legal Clinic, and has worked in the area of bankruptcy for over 13 years.  He has filed thousands of successful Chapter 7 & Chapter 13 cases and is the “goto” by many attorneys for advice on putting together viable bankruptcy cases.  He is well-respected in the bankruptcy community and his specialties are client education and communication.
