Do you or does someone you know have a child that you think may qualify for Social Security Income due to a disability? Have you applied for SSI for your minor child and been rejected? Do you have an upcoming eligibility review? This free webinar can help you!

In this presentation, Legal Aid Society of San Diego, Inc. attorneys Bridget Homer and Jen Winberry will explain what constitutes childhood disability and what is needed to prove childhood disability to the Social Security Administration. They will discuss SSI eligibility requirements, application process, and continuing eligibility reviews once a child is granted benefits. Finally, they will provide information about the services available to parents, guardians, and caretakers of children with disabilities by Legal Aid’s Children’s SSI Team, with particular focus on accommodations implemented as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
