The Legal Aid Society of San Diego’s Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC) provides advice and representation to San Diego taxpayers who are faced with an IRS controversy. From Audits to Liens; Appeals and Wage Garnishments; the LITC will screen taxpayers for eligibility as Low-Income taxpayers and provide an initial consultation. When there is merit to a case, the LITC will even represent taxpayers in Tax Court if necessary.
