As many of you know, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the San Diego Superior Courts were closed from March 17, 2020 to May 26,2020. This closure has created an enormous backlog of cases in our court system, and thousands of litigants have been effected.

A group of San Diego attorneys recognized the need for the legal community to come together and create a temporary solution to the backlog of cases that the civil justice system is facing. So, they created the largest pro bono event in San Diego history: Resolve Law San Diego!

This amazing coalition of attorneys from both sides of the bar and from across practice areas have one goal:  assisting litigants with resolving their cases FOR FREE. They offer litigants the opportunity to connect with a retired judge or qualified attorney that will hear matters involving motions and mediation remotely and at no cost. Resolve Law San Diego is not a court sponsored program, it is by agreement of the parties only. The program will last for 120 days and is designed to move cases forward through the motion and mediation process.

In this one hour webinar, the organizers of Resolve Law will explain how they can help resolve your case and how to sign up for this program, which can be used by both attorneys and self-represented litigants.
