Are you feeling stuck with your current research methods? Do you want to discover some new materials? Join us for a lively discussion of some “hidden gem” resources for legal research. These are some favorite go-to resources of the reference librarians at San Diego Law Library that are often overlooked by our patrons. This presentation will focus on resources for civil law research, and will include self-help resources and resources for legal professionals. We will introduce you to some of our favorite websites, databases and database content, books in the library, and resources created by the library staff.
About the Speakers
This class will be taught by our very own reference librarians, Lisa Foster and Havilah Steinman-Bakken.
This webinar is part of our series of continuing legal education (CLE) classes. Since the Law Library’s physical locations closed in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have transitioned our CLE programs online as webinars. These courses have been in high demand and spaces fill up quickly so, please, sign up now to reserve your spot. You will receive an email with your login information after registering for the event.
Check out our Classes, Legal Databases, and COVID-19 Legal Issues pages for more information! If you have any questions about our webinars or our Borrowing or MCLE Class Packages, please contact us by email or telephone, or you can sign up for an appointment for a telephone call with a reference librarian or to visit us in person. And, if you want to view more of the educational programming that we have created, we have posted most of our webinars on the San Diego Law Library YouTube Channel.
