By Valerie on July 12, 2019//Leave a comment

San Diego has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. As you sunbathe, surf, or swim, have you considered the many laws affecting your coastal experience?

  • Can you drink alcohol at the beach?
  • Can you walk your dog on the beach?
  • Where can you sunbathe au natural?

Our trio of beach law experts will have the answers to these questions and more. Senior Park Ranger Karolynn Estrada Sparlin, Sergeant Rick Strobel, from Lifeguard Services, and Officer Jeremy Huff, from the San Diego Police Department, will inform you on current regulations and answer your questions on beach issues.

And, if you enjoy this event, Beach Law II is coming Friday, August 9th!
