FREE MCLE Classes a Great Community Success

Thank you to everyone who attended our 2 recent FREE MCLE classes.  Last Tuesday, we held a maximum-capacity class on Beach Law. Participants learned everything from BUIs (Boating Under the Influence) to the history of Floatopia, beach community court, nude beaches, and much more from three fantastic speakers: Senior Park Ranger Karolynn Estrada, Sergeant Richard Strobel and Officer Jeremy Huff.

Three weeks ago Tuesday, we hosted in partnership with the San Diego Public Library our 7th annual Lindley Law & Comics. Over 60 attendees got to hear about the successes and the tribulations of going independent with your comic creation thanks to our panelists Terry Moore, Stu Rees, and George Brewster.

Providing free classes is one way we carry out our mission of law made public. Stay tuned as we announce new exciting classes for the fall!

Is there a video available for either of these programs?

Thank you for contacting the Law Library. Law and Comics can be viewed on the Law Library’s Youtube channel here: The Beach Law class was filmed as part of our partnership with LexVid. Once they finish processing the recording, you can view it through their website. This can take 2 to 3 months. If you use our referral code with LexVid – SDCLL10, you can get a 10% discount.
