About this Class:

Are you looking to start a business and wonder what is involved in hiring your first employee? You face a minefield of compliance issues when you have anyone work for your business. You can avoid problems by paying attention and following the rules from the moment you decide to hire someone.

This presentation will discuss issues and solutions in broad concepts. It is great for small business owners, entrepreneurs, and attorneys new to business or employment law. There will be time for questions, but this is a presentation rather than a clinic, so there will be no individualized legal advice. This class is a community education presentation and no MCLE credits are available.

About the Speaker:

Ari Hornick, Esq., is a graduate of California Western School of Law and is part of their Access to Law Initiative. Ari specializes in representing small businesses, mediation, and legal malpractice.
