FREE Elder Law Class Today on Estate Planning Issues

The San Diego Law Library is proud to present a series of FREE classes on Elder Law issues, providing information on a variety of topics that affect senior citizens. These classes are free and open to the public. The classes run from noon to 1 pm at our Downtown branch.
This week’s class is focused on estate planning legal issues. There will be a specific focus on diminishing capacity. This series of classes is for community education and will NOT qualify for attorney MCLE credit.
Tuesday, October 11, 12 – 1pm: Estate Planning and Legal Issues Affecting Seniors
- An overview of diminishing capacity, what seniors face later in life, and what lawyers can do to help
- Presented by Jaime Levine from Elder Law & Advocacy
Tuesday, October 18, 12 – 1pm: An Overview of Legal Options at the End of Life
- Information about the law in California, including the End of Life Option Act (EOLOA)
- Presented by psychologist Faye Girsh and attorney William Simmons
