How Non-Filer Taxpayers Can Receive Stimulus Checks

Did you think that you did not qualify for a federal Economic Impact Payment (also know as a Stimulus Check) because you have not paid taxes in the past two years and do not receive Social Security, SSI, Railroad Retirement, or VA benefits. Well, you can still receive a Stimulus Check for you and your minor dependents!

This webinar, is provided by Legal Aid Society of San Diego will explain how to file. This webinar is very timely because the deadline for registering for a stimulus check is November 21, 2020. And, once the federal deadline with the IRS passes, non-filers will have the claim their Economic Impact Payment as a credit on 2020 income tax return.

Attendees will learn from Supervising Attorney Shahin Rahimi and Outreach Coordinator Wendy Romero of Legal Aid’s Low Income Taxpayers Clinic. Shahin will present in English while Wendy presents in Spanish.
