Millions of people are drawn to San Diego’s shores each year. Our beaches cross many municipalities and jurisdictions. In this presentation you will learn about the laws of the beach from the people that enforce them! Our speakers will answer the most common beach-related questions:
Can you drink at the beach?
Can you walk your dog on the beach?
What are the rules for electric scooters at the beach?
What’s new in 2021?
About the Speakers:
Learn about beach laws from the people charged with enforcing them. Senior Park Ranger Karolynn Estrada Sparlin, Sergeant Rick Strobel from Lifeguard Services, and Officer Jeremy Huff from the San Diego Police Department will inform you on current regulations and answer your questions.
This webinar is part of our series of continuing legal education (CLE) classes. Since the Law Library’s physical locations closed in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have transitioned our CLE programs online as webinars. These courses have been in high demand and spaces fill up quickly so, please, sign up now to reserve your spot. You will receive an email with your login information after registering for the event.
Check out our Classes, Legal Databases, and COVID-19 Legal Issues pages for more information! If you have any questions about our webinars or our Borrowing or MCLE Class Packages, please contact us by email or telephone, or you can sign up for an appointment for a telephone call with a reference librarian or to visit us in person. And, if you want to view more of the educational programming that we have created, we have posted most of our webinars on the San Diego Law Library YouTube Channel.
