California financial literacy month is a statewide public awareness effort to highlight the importance of financial literacy. April is a reminder to focus on our finances. The California Government provides free information, news and resources to assist Californians to make wise financial decisions through the CAFLM (California Financial Literacy Month) portal. Other free financial information websites include, the U.S. government’s website on financial education basics, and the Federal Trade Commission’s Money Matters website.

For more information on how to achieve your financial goals, be sure to attend Gary Laturno’s class on Estate Planning & Financial Security at our Chula Vista location on Wednesday, April 16.
