The State Bar Rules Revision Commission has written a new set of professional rules. If approved by the Supreme Court, they will change the way you practice law. Here is a preview of some of more significant changes in rules regarding conflicts, performance, and fees.


About the Speaker

David Cameron Carr specializes in legal ethics and the law of lawyering, including discipline defense, bar admissions, attorney fee disputes, legal malpractice, attorney professional responsibility and ethics advice. For 12 years, Mr. Carr practiced law as a staff attorney, discipline prosecutor and manager for the State Bar of California before returning to private practice in 2001.
