Election 2018: Statewide Primary Election is June 5

By Cheryl on May 07, 2018//Leave a comment

Primary Election for United State Senator, Representatives in Congress, Governor/Lt. Governor and other State offices is June 5. Other State offices up for election include State Assembly (all districts), Secretary of State, Attorney General and more.  Local government offices included in the June 5 Primary Election include Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk, District Attorney, Sheriff, Treasurer, and some Superior Court Judge seats.

Last day to register to vote is Monday, May 21. You can pick up Voter Registration form at our downtown San Diego or Vista locations, or register online at the Registrar of Voters. The last day to apply for a mail ballot is May 29. Your vote matters because county races do not require an election in November if one candidate receives over 50% of the vote in the Primary elections. Those offices include San Diego County Board of Supervisors, Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk, and Superior Court Judges.
