Divorce Resource, our popular series of workshops from the Divorce Mediation Group, is coming to the Law Library’s Downtown location Wednesdays in May from 6 to 7 pm.

The topics for each week’s session are as follows:

  • Week 1, May 4, is What is Divorce Mediation Anyway. It covers the divorce process in California and how divorce mediation is different.
  • Week 2, May 11, is Divorce and Money. It covers dividing real estate, personal property, and debt.
  • Week 3, May 18, is How Do We Figure Out Support and Custody. It covers child support, parenting plans, and spousal support.
  • Week 4, May 25, is How Do We Minimize the Effect on Our Family. It covers the effects of divorce on kids and how to care for yourself and your kids.

If the South County area is more convenient, you can still join us on the last two Wednesdays in April from 6 to 7 pm at the Civic Center branch of the Chula Vista Public Library, 365 F Street, Chula Vista. Even if you missed the first two workshops, you can still catch the week 3 and 4 informative sessions. They cover support and custody and then the effects of divorce on you and your children.

You can sign up for any of the workshop sessions here. If you have questions, please contact the Divorce Mediation Group at 619-238-2400 x223 or email: kwerner@ncrconline.com.
